Using a Palm Treo with EZDispatch:

The image to the left labels some of the buttons that we will refer to. The "Home" button will take you to the "Main Screen". The "Menu" button will bring up a menu for whatever program you are in. The "Side" button can be set to do any number of things. We will set this button to take you to EZDispatch. The "Phone" and "End" buttons are usually used for making/ending calls, but the "Phone" button can also have a secondary option set for it. For those who prefer, this can be set to take you to EZDispatch.

Go to the main screen by pressing the "Home" button. Find the "Prefs" icon, and click on it.

Go to "Buttons" in the "Personal" section

Set up your buttons. We recommend setting the side button to "Web". You do this by clicking on the arrow, and choosing "Web" (as shown above). Click "Done".

Go to the "Web". This can be done by choosing the "Web" icon from the main screen, or using the buttons that we just set up. (Such as holding in the "Side Button" for 2 seconds.)

Press the "Menu" button, go over to the "Options" menu, and choose "Preferences"

Choose to "Start With" your "Home Page"

Click on the "Home Page" box, to bring up an area to enter your home page.

Enter in your home page as above. It should be: http://ezdispatch.com?u=YourUserName&p=YourPassword. To make the ? press the "option" key, then the letter "N". To make the = press the "option" key, then press the letter "S" (this will insert a -). Then press the "alt" button, and it will give you a list of options. Choose the =. If you do NOT want your phone to log in automatically, leave off the ? and everything following. When you are done, click the "OK" button to go back to the "Preferences" page. Then click the "OK" button to go back to the web browser.
So, let's test this thing! Press the "Home" button, which will take you back to the main screen. You will now be able to goto AND login to EZDispatch by simply holding in the "Side Button" for 2 seconds. In the future, pressing and holding the "Side Button" will take you to EZDispatch from anywhere except another web page.
